There is a difference between trust and faith. Trust is 100% faith with total surrender. Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas Students of Saitech Premises performed a role play on Trust in God at Farm Guru as a part of Balvikas Pongal Celebrations on 16th January 2020.

Balvikas students of Sri Sathya Sai Organisations, Chennai Metro (North) functioning at the premises of Saitech Informatics, Kolathur celebrated their Pongal at Farm Guru, an agricutural farm developed by Sri. Sai at Athur, near Karanodai, Red Hills around 25 km from Chennai.
Nine children started with omkar, sloka, bhajan, role play and finished the morning prayer with mangala arathi.
After the welcome drinks, Sri. Sai, M.D. of Farm Guru conducted a class on importance of farming to all children and parents assembled under the shadow of mango trees.
Sri. Sai taught children in detail about different stages of cultivating paddy viz., ploughing, seeding, transplanting, harvesting, threshing, winnowing and milling. He also discussed about water management like drip irrigation and latest techniques like mulching, green house farming, organic farming, vermiculture, etc.
When every student was taught practically how to plough with the support of bulls, they were thrilled in the first stage itself. The farmer who supported the ploughing explained the children how this ploughing helps the loosening up of soil and prepare it for cultivation.
Children were served with seeds of paddy for seeding on the ploughed field after loosening up the soil and some irrigation of water.
After seeding the children transplanted the partially grown paddy and understood the need for weeding too practically. Some children recollected the lesson they were taught in their schools and realized that seeing is believing and involving in the task really helps one understanding the concept. This has made them to have a memorable experience.

There is a great tamil poem by Avvaiyaar. When the ridges raises, there is a raise in water level. When there is plenty of water, there is raise in productivity of more crops. When the productivity of crops is more, the standard of living of the subjects raises. When there is good standards in the subjects, the quality of reign raises. Finally, when the quality of reign raises, the reputation of the King is raised to sky.
The farmers neatly arrange the paddy in different rows and columns like a matrix and wait for the complete growth of the paddy. Our children learnt how to harvest after the paddy is fully grown up after transplantation.
We have a family doctor.
We have a family lawyer.
We have family friends.
We should have a family mentor!
We should have a family farmer!!
All children thoroughly understood how the farmers really struggle to get rice, starting from the first stage of preparation of earth.
They also learnt how to separate the rice from husk.
It was an amazing experience for all children to have a handful of paddy after the different stages of cultivation.
All children clearly understood the importance of agriculture and hard labour of farmers. They pledged there itself not to waste even single rice when they take their food.
Meanwhile Mr. Sai explained about the need for bee culture and its role in pollination.
He explained the three types of bees viz, queen bee, female worker bees, and male bees (drones) and showed a hive where around 3000 bees live together in a colony happily and narrated how they coordinate each other and also help in pollination of flowers.
Since all children were maintaining silence, there was not even single incident of bee biting!!
There are lot of other vegetables like lady’s finger plant, brinjal, raddish, tomatoes etc. planted besides paddy. There are many trees in and round the field.
Childrent leant the importance of drip irrigation as one of the important water management techniques.
There are more than 100 short hybrid variety of coconut trees. We can hand pick the coconuts from the tree just by standing on earth.
The children enjoyed bullock cart riding along with some of their parents.
They did not spare tractor riding also. All of them enjoyed the friendly environment at Farm Guru.
Sri. Sai also explained about green house farming and added how the green roof protects the plants from strong wind, torrential raining and from insects.
He explained about the need for mulching and how it effectively saves water from direct evaporation.
He also explained how our forefathers had already discovered the natural mulching technique by using coconut fibres to catch hold of water and help the plant in prolonged watering by preventing evaporation of water under hot sun.
Farmers assemble at one place and celebrated “Mattu Pongal”. They invited Balvikas Guru to show mangala arathi. It was really awesome to celebrate Pongal with such simple people with huge generosity.
Balvikas Guru presented clothes to farmers on behalf as requested by the managing director of Farm Guru.
After the lunch there were lot of fun and games. Our Balvikas children enjoyed a lot and participated in all activities happily.
Play and fun make everyone happy especially during festival time.
Swami has already insisted on agricare in the village integrated programme. Agricare means integration of all land based activities like agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry and other land use activities and train the farmers in organic farming and preparation of compost manures.
Agricare also supports in promoting additional revenue generation through mushroom cultivation, setting up kitchen gardens, medicinal plant cultivation and training in floriculture. Rain water harvesting is done to help not only the farmers but also the urban dwellers in saving precious water. Additionally farmers should also be trained in low cost cultivation method by minimising the resources & maximising the output.
We can even think of envirocare services and events in the district level along with Balvikas children and their parents. Balvikas children study many concepts in their school books and their visualization should be limited to text books and conventional concrete classrooms. They should be taken to such places where corporate gurus like Sri. Sai do their silent services!! Thanks to the parents of Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas children who encouraged such trip and made a grand success. Jai Sairam!!

பொங்கல் அல்லது மகர சங்கராந்தி திருவிழா பொதுவாக ஜனவரி 14 அல்லது 15 தேதிகளில் இந்தியா முழுவதும் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. மகரத்தின் வெப்பமண்டலத்தில் இந்த நாள் முதல், சூரியன் தெற்கிலிருந்து வடக்கு நோக்கி நகர்கிறது, எனவே, இந்த நாள் சூரியனைக் கொண்டாடும் ஒரு புனித பண்டிகையாக கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. சூரியனின் இந்த வடக்கு நோக்கிய பயணம் உத்தராயணம் என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.

பொங்கல் தினத்தன்று அரிசி மாக்கோலம் மிகவும் பிரசித்தி பெற்ற ஓர் கலை. தேவர்கள் எறும்புருவத்தில் வருவதாகவும் அவர்களுக்கான பிரசாதமே இந்தஅரிசி மாவு என்பது ஐதீகம். நம் முன்னோர்கள் எதைச்செய்தாலும் அதில் ஒரு அர்த்தம் இருக்கத்தான் செய்கிறது.
குளிர்காலத்தின் முடிவைக் கொண்டாடுவதற்கும் வசந்த காலத்தையும் புத்தாண்டையும் வரவேற்க இந்தியாவின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் கொண்டாடப்படும் திருவிழாவின் வெவ்வேறு பெயர்கள் சங்கராந்தி, பொங்கல், பிஹு மற்றும் லோஹ்ரி. இந்த விழாக்களுக்கு வெவ்வேறு பெயர்கள் இருந்தாலும், கொண்டாட்டத்தின் சாராம்சம் அப்படியே இருக்கிறது. மகாராஷ்டிரா மற்றும் குஜராத்தில் மகர சங்கராந்தி, அசாமில் பிஹு, கேரளா அல்லது தென்னிந்தியாவில் பொங்கல் மற்றும் பஞ்சாப் அல்லது வட இந்தியாவில் லோஹ்ரி கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. இவை அனைத்தும் சங்கராந்தியின் புனித நாளில் கொண்டாடப்படுகின்றன.
இந்தியாவில், பொங்கல் அல்லது சங்கராந்தி உட்பட அனைத்து பண்டிகைகளுக்கும் ஆன்மீக முக்கியத்துவம் தரப்படுகிறது. சூரியன் வடக்கு நோக்கி நகரும்போது, வடக்கு எதைக் குறிக்கிறது? பிறப்பு மற்றும் இறப்பு சுழற்சியில் இருந்து உணர்தல் அல்லது விடுதலையை அடைய நம் மனம் செல்ல வேண்டிய திசையை வடக்கு குறிக்கிறது.

பொங்கல் சிறப்பு விழாவாக இந்த ஆண்டு 16 ஜனவரி 2020 அன்று சாய்டெக் சென்டரில் இயங்கும் பால்விகாஸ் குழந்தைகளுடன் விவசாய பண்ணையில் கொண்டாடவுள்ளோம்.
இந்த விவசாயப்பண்ணை ரெட் ஹில்ஸ் அருகில் கரனோடை ஒட்டிய ஆத்தூர் கிராமத்தில் உள்ளது. ஒரு நெல்மணி உருவாக்க விவசாயி படும் பாட்டை நம் பிள்ளைகள் தெரிந்துகொண்டால் உணவை வீணாக்க மாட்டார்கள். இந்த தைப் பொங்கலில் உணவை வீணாக்கமாட்டோம் என்று உறுதியெடுத்துக்கொள்வோம்.
ஏன் இந்த மனவுளைச்சல் ! உன் விவகாரம் அத்தனையும் நான் பார்க்கும்போது ! நீ என்றைக்காவது சரணாகதி என்னிடம் அடையமாட்டாயா என்று நான் காத்துக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறேன் !! அதன்பின் உனக்கு எதற்கு இந்த வீண் கவலை !
உன்னுடைய அத்தனை பயத்தையும் அவநம்பிக்கையையும் மூட்டையா கட்டி தூக்கி எறிந்துவிட்டு ஓடி வா என்னிடம் !!
என்னை நம்பாமல் நீ ஒரு எடுப்பார் கைப்பிள்ளையாகிவிட்டாயே ! அதெல்லாம் வேண்டாம் உனக்கு ! கண்ணை மூடிக்கொண்டு என்னை பரிபூரணமாக நம்பு !
சரணாகதியென்றால் என்னவென்று நினைத்துக்கொண்டாய் ? உன் எண்ணங்களை பிரச்சனைகளிலிருந்து விலக்குவது ! அவைகளை இன்னல்களிலிருந்து திசை திருப்புவது ! எல்லாவற்றையும் என் கைகளில் போட்டுவிட்டு, இறைவா ! தங்கள் திருவுள்ளப்படியே நடக்கட்டும் ! தங்கள் சித்தம் என் பாக்கியம் என்று இருந்துவிடுவது ! அதாவது, இறைவா, எனதனைத்தையும் நீயே உன் பொற்கரங்களில் தாங்கிக்கொண்டாய் ! இதையும் நீயே என் அளப்பரிய நன்மைக்காக சமாளித்துவிடுவாய் என்று இருப்பது ! இதுதான் சரணாகதி !!
நன்றாக ஒன்றை ஞாபகம் வைத்துக்கொள் ! பலனை நினத்தாலே சரணாகதி அதோகதிதான் ! அதாவது, என்னாடா இது , போற போக்கே சரியில்லையே என்று மனதில் பட்டாலே உன்மேல் உள்ள என் அன்பை நம்பிக்கையிழந்து பறக்கவிட்டுவிட்டாய் என்றுதான் ஆகிவிடும் ! நீயே உன் வாழ்வின்மீது நான் ஆட்கொண்டிருப்பதை கவனம் கொள்ளாமல் நிச்சயித்துவிட்டாயே ! என்னிடமிருந்து எதுவும் தப்பாது என்பதை நீ கவனிக்கவில்லையே !
எதையெடுத்தாலும், எப்படி இது முடியப்போகுதோ ! என்னதான் நடக்குமோ என்று எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருக்காதே ! இந்த சலனத்தின் பிடியுள் நீ மாட்டிக்கொண்டால், என்பால் உனக்கு நம்பிக்கை இல்லை என்று அர்த்தமாகிவிடும் !
சரி ! போனது போகட்டும் ! இனியாவது உன் பிரச்சனையை நான் தீர்க்கட்டுமா வேண்டாமா ! அதற்கப்புறம், அதைப்பற்றியே புலம்புவதை நிறுத்திகொள் !
என்னை பரிபூரணமாக சரணடைந்தால் உன்னை நான் வழிநடத்திச்செல்வேன் ! உன் பாதையைவிடுத்து வேறுபாதையில் அழைத்துச்சென்றால் உன்னை ந்டக்க வைப்பேனா ? உன்னை என் கை அரவணைப்பில் எந்திச்செல்வேன் !!
எது உன்னை திகைக்கடிப்பது தெரியுமா ? உன் பகுத்தறிவும், புலம்பலும், பிடிவாதமும், வந்த விலைக்கு உன்னையே விற்றுகொள்ளும் மனப்போக்கும்தான்!
பொருட்செல்வமோ அல்லது அருட்செல்வமோ ! இப்போதே நான் அள்ளித்தர முடியும். எங்கே, என் பக்கம் திரும்பு ! அதை நினைத்துக்கொள் ! கண்களை மூடு ! அமைதியாக இரு. பரிபூர்ணமாக உன் பிரர்த்தனையை நம்பிக்கையோடு என் மேல் செலுத்தும்போது, உனக்கு தாராளமாக எதுவும் கிடைக்கும் !
கஷ்ட நேரத்தில், என்னை பிரார்த்தனை செய் ! உனக்காக நான், நீ விரும்பும்படி பரிகாரம் செய்வேன் !
என்னை நீ நம்பமாட்டாய் ! ஆனால், உன் கோரிக்கைகளை நான் நிறைவேட்டவேண்டும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கிறாய் ?
மருத்துவருக்கே எப்போதும் ஆலோசனை சொல்லும் நோயாளி போல் என்னிடம் நடந்துகொள்ளாதே ! அப்படி செய்யாதே ! அதைவிட, கவலைக்கிடமான நேரத்திலும், இதைச்சொல் : ” இறைவா போற்றி ! இந்த இன்னலுக்காக உனக்கு நன்றி ! இந்த பூலோகத்திலும், மேலோகத்திலும் உன் ஆணைப்படியே எல்லாம் சரிவர நடக்கட்டும் என்று பிரார்த்தனை செய்கிறேன் . உனக்குத் தெரியும் எது எனக்கு சிறப்பானது என்று! “
சில நேரங்களில், அழிவு குறைவதற்கு பதில் ஏறிக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறதே என்று தோணும் ! இதற்க்கெல்லாம் கலங்காதே ! கண்களை மூடிக்கொள் ! நம்பிக்கையுடன் இதைச்சொல் ! : “தங்கள் பணி நடந்தேறும் ! ” இதை உன் நினைவில் இருத்து ! இதை இவ்வாறு பேசும்போது தேவைப்பட்டால் நான் ஒரு அற்புதம் நிகழ்த்துவேன் ! ஒட்டுமொத்தமாக என்னை நீ நம்பும்போது என் எண்ணப்படி அது நடக்கும் !
என் எண்ணமெல்லாம் எப்போதும் உன் மேல்தான் ! ஆனால், என்னை நீ முழுதும் நம்பினால்தான் உனக்கு நான் முழுமையாக உதவ முடியும் !
பகவான் ஸ்ரீ சத்ய சாய் பாபா
அக்காலத்தில், ஒவ்வொரு அரச குடும்பத்திலும் ஒரு குலகுரு இருப்பார். அவர் அரச குடும்ப சிறார்களுக்கு பாடம் கற்பிக்கும் ஆசிரியராகவும், பெரியவர்களுக்கு வாழ்வியலை கற்றுத்தருபவராகவும், அரசியல் ஆலோசகராகவும் இருப்பார். இன்றைய தலைமுறையில், நமது ஒவ்வொரு குடும்பமும் அரச குடும்பத்திற்கு இணையான வசதிகளுடன் வாழ்க்கையை நடத்திக்கொண்டிருக்கிறோம், ஒன்றைத்தவிர!! குடும்பங்களில் பெரியோர் என்று யாருக்குமே மதிப்பு மரியாதை கிடையாது என்பது அப்பட்டமான உண்மை!!!
கருத்து சுதந்திரம் என்ற போதையில் Vice-Chancellor யே நிற்கவைத்து மாணாக்கர்கள் கேள்வி கேட்டு கலாட்டா செய்யும் அளவிற்கு சமூகம் சீரழிந்து விட்டது. இனி பெரிய அளவில் எந்த புரட்சியும் அமைதியின்மையைத்தான் விளைவிக்கும்.
இச்சமூகம் அமைதி பெறவேண்டுமென்றால், ஒவ்வொரு குடும்பத்திலும் அமைதி நிலவவேண்டும். மேலாதிக்க மீடியாக்களின் இரும்புப்பிடியிலிருந்து குடும்பத்தினர் அனைவரையும் விடுவிக்க வேண்டும். அதற்கு ஒரே வழி ஒவ்வொரு குடும்பத்திலும் குலகுருவை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டும். அதற்கு குலகுருக்களை பெரியளவில் உருவாக்கவேண்டும்.
ஒரு ஊரில் ஆயிரம் குடும்பங்களிருந்தால், அந்த ஊரில் குறைந்தபட்சம், 10% , அதாவது 100 நல்லாசிரியர்கள் இருக்கவேண்டும். இப்போது ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு பஞ்சமில்லை. ஆனால், நல்லாசிரியர்கள் கிடைப்பது அரிது. எனினும் அவர்களையும் சமூக பொறுப்புள்ள நாம்தான் உருவாக்கவேண்டும். கற்பிப்போரை மேலும் நல்வழியில் கற்பிக்கவைப்பது நம் கடமை.
நம்மூரில் இப்போது நிறையவே டியூஷன் சென்டர்கள் உள்ளன. ஒவ்வொரு டியூஷன் சென்டரும் பால்விகாஸ் கல்வி மையமாக மாறவேண்டும். வாரத்தில் 6 நாட்கள் அவர்கள் பள்ளிப்பாடங்களில் மாணாக்கர்களுக்கு டியூஷன் சொல்லித்தரட்டும். வார இறுதியில், ஞாயிற்று கிழமைகளில் பால்விகாஸ் நடத்தலாமே! நம்மூரில் அமைப்புசாரா எத்தனையோ கல்வியாளர்கள் உள்ளனர். நம் வீட்டிலேயே தாய்மார்கள் உள்ளனர். உலகத்தில் தாய்தான் அவள் பிள்ளைக்கு முதல் குரு. ஒவ்வொரு பெண்ணும் பால்விகாஸ் குருவாக உருவாகவேண்டும். அவர்கள் இல்லம் பால்விகாஸ் குருகுலமாக மாறவேண்டும்.
ஒவ்வொரு சமிதி கன்வீனரும் சமிதி சென்டரும் சாய் நிவாஸ் போன்ற சாய் மையங்களும் பால்விகாஸ் குருக்களை உருவாக்கும் மையங்களாக பரிணமிக்கவேண்டும். குருவின் இல்லமே கோயிலாக மாறவேண்டும். ஒவ்வொரு குருவும் 6 குழந்தைகளை வாரத்தில் ஒருநாள் அவர்கள் இல்லத்தில் வைத்து பால்விகாஸ் வகுப்புக்களை நடத்த முடியாதா?
நான் என்னுடைய பால்விகாஸ் பருவத்தில் எனது குரு காலம்சென்ற திருமதி. ஜானகி மாமி அவர்கள் வீட்டில்தான் அடுகளை படுகளையாக ஞாயிற்று கிழமை முழுதும் இருப்பேன். ஒன்று இரண்டு வருடங்களல்ல!! ஒன்பது ஆண்டுகள் முறையாக பால்விகாஸ் பயின்று ஸ்வாமியிடம் டிப்ளமோ இன் சத்ய சாய் எடுகேஷன் செர்டிபிகேட் வாங்கியுள்ளேன். அதன் பின் சுமார் 40 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப்பிறகு பிரசாந்தி நிலையத்தில் அவார்டும் கிடைக்கப்பெற்றேன்.
என் வேலை, சுவாமி வேலை என்று என்றுமே பிரித்தறியேன். கம்பெனி வேலையாக இருந்தாலும் சரி, பாடம் சொல்லிக்கொடுப்பதாக இருந்தாலும் சரி சுவாமி அர்ப்பணமாக செய்தால் அதற்கான வெகுமதி நாம் எங்கிருந்தாலும் வீடு தேடி வரும் என்பது திண்ணம்!
பொருளில்லார்க்கு இவ்வுலகமில்லை. அருளில்லார்க்கு அவ்வுலகமில்லை. சுவாமி சொல்வதுபோல, வாழ்க்கை என்ற இரயில் வண்டி லௌகீகம் மற்றும் ஆன்மிகம் என்ற இணையான இருப்புப்பாதையில் சீராக பயணிக்கவேண்டும். அதற்கேற்ப, சாய் டெக்கில் நாங்கள் திங்கள் முதல் சனிக்கிழமை வரை தினமும் அதிகாலை மற்றும் மாலை நேரங்களில் வயிற்றுப்பிழைப்பிற்காக, வாழ்வதற்க்காக, கணிதம் மற்றும், அறிவியல் பயிற்றுவிக்கிறோம் !! ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமைகளில் பால்விகாஸ் மற்றும் மனித திறன் மேம்பாட்டுக்கல்வி பயிற்றுவிக்கிறோம். எங்கள் குழந்தைகள் எதற்கும் சளைத்தவர்களில்லை என்பதை நிரூபித்துள்ளனர்.
நமது இலக்கு நல்லாசிரியர்களை உருவாக்குவதே. கற்போம் நம் மூச்சின் இறுதிவரை. கற்பிப்போம் நம் வருங்கால சந்ததியினர் என்றும் நம்மை நினைவில்கொள்ளுமளவுக்கு!! இக்கட்டுரை கண்டிப்பாக பல இடங்களில் சிறு சிறு அளவில் உயிர்த்தெழுந்து மிகப்பெரிய கல்விப்புரட்சி செய்யும் என்பது என் கண்முன்னே தெரிகிறது! வாட்ஸாப்பில் வெட்டிச்செய்திகளை பரப்புவதை நிறுத்துங்கள். கல்விச்செய்திகளை பரப்புங்கள். ஜெய் சாய்ராம்!
